[Background/Aim]
Next-generation development in the context of school consolidation
School consolidation has accelerated nationwide due to decreasing population.
School consolidation will also negatively affect next-generation development. It is important to look at this issue from the perspective of regional sustainability.
New learning opportunities for regions
Local governments in hilly and mountainous regions started establishing public academies and building facilities and systems to accept students from outside the regions.
More high schools and universities provide project-based learning opportunities utilizing rural and agricultural community sites.
[Activities]
Retain learning opportunities and develop a mechanism to train next generation in Shinchi.
